The Drowned Villages of the Scheldt project (https://drownedvillages.ugent.be/en/project) explores a remarkable yet vulnerable landscape in the Eastern Scheldt estuary using a combination of terrestrial and marine remote sensing and near-surface geophysical prospection methods.
